Andrew LeBlanc, based in the vibrant city of Calgary, Alberta, traces the roots of his musical journey back to his early days in Halifax, Boston and Ottawa. Inspired by his involvement in Hardcore bands alongside his older brother, Andrew initially found his rhythm as a drummer. However, a move from Ottawa led to a necessary departure from the group, sparking Andrew's desire to channel his passion for music into a new form of creation – music production.

Officially embarking on his music career at the age of 18 under the alias "Hounds," Andrew delved into the realm of electronic music as a Producer and DJ. What began as a passionate pursuit soon evolved into a full-fledged profession, with Andrew touring across Canada and the United States, sharing stages with renowned artists such as Hucci, UZ, and Adventure Club.

 

As the years unfolded, Andrew's musical journey took a transformative turn into the realms of Pop, Rap, and Hip-Hop. Transitioning from beat-making to songwriting, Andrew's strengths flourished, allowing him to craft EPs and full-length albums with a diverse array of artists, including Yung Bambi, Fukkit, and TrippyThaKid. Building strong connections through the internet, Andrew secured singles with artists such as Lil Peep, Yung Gravy, BBNO$, and Project Pat, marking significant milestones in his expanding career.

One of Andrew's most notable achievements was his participation in the last Red Bull Music Academy event held in Calgary, where he gained mentorship from world-renowned artists, a testament to his growing influence in the music scene. In a recent artistic evolution, Andrew found a passion for film scoring and commercial sync, showcasing his soundscape skills in projects including "The Year Long Boulder."  This film has garnered acclaim in the festival circuit, earning recognition such as the prestigious New York's NewFest + Vimeo award for First-Time Filmmaker.
